For us, tattooing is not just a way to get your body to look more pretty – it is a service that merges, respect, symbolism and mutual trust. We mainly focus on styles which stood the test of time: Japanese, Traditional, Engraving and Ornamental, but do not be sad, we see tattooing as a craft, which means we will happily create a tattoo exactly as you imagine in a lot of different styles. We focus on precision, quality work and a personal approach to every tattoo we make. Every design is discussed in detail, not because it sounds good but because we genuienly care. We are not following trends and leave realism tattoos to those who like copying pics from google. We rather create something that has a story, structure and identity. Except for tattooing we love hand making stuff – from original flash up to commisioned paintings and other artisan pieces. Bold linework, solid colors and timeless designs. This classic styles inspired by navy and army culture offers iconic designs like eagles, roses, felines, daggers, pinup girls and many more. Every design is simple, vibrant and shines with an authentic vintage vibe. Like they say "Bold will hold", thanks to its simplicity, fat lines and vivid colors, tattoos in this style are famous for looking great for life.
For those who value details and cultural heritage. Traditional japanese tattooing also known as "Irezumi" is deeply rooted in japanese culture, history and mythology. Irezumi is well known for it meticulous designs, and solid bright colors. Common designs include buddhist dieties, flowers, koi carps, dragons and warriors. Japanese tattoos are mostly large scale works which cover large areas of the body, creating a seamless harmonious compositions. But not always, Japanese tattoos can also be done as smaller one shot projects simillarly to american traditional. This style emphasizes on fluid composition and a deep symbolism associated with courage, resilience and spiritual development.
Engraving style is inspired by classic engraving techniques based on historical illustrations, ancient books and coins. Distinguished by fine linework, dense shading and precise structure which creates bold contrast and depth. This style appears classic, timeless and artsy, while drawing from mythology, symbolism, nature or ancient scientific illustrations. Engraving is ideal for those who love elegant and detailed tattoos with medieval, mystical touch. Every tattoo in this style is of a strong visual and artisan value.
Dotwork is a style which builds on precision and patience – instead of solid lines and shading, a series of dots are used. Together the dots create an image rich of texture and depth. This approach in tattooing makes for a soft, clean and almost meditative visual effect. Dotwork is commonly inspired by sacred symbolism, mandalas and geometry, but can also be easily adapted in more abstract designs. Must go for those in search of a tattoo with a calming energy.
I rely on clean and precise work — making every tattoo so that it is worth it. My all time favorite are Japanese and Traditional tattoos but i will happily tattoo basically anything (leaving out realism, for the good of mankind). When not tattooing i am most likely painting, or crafting somehing weird but wonderful. My weakness is japanese culture (but hate anime haha), punk music, matcha and beer. I am a relentless detailist with passion for great ideas — so do not hesitate to reach out, let us create something really cool together.
I draw inspiration from art, nature and symbolisms of different cultures – tattoo by me always has a story and a specific vibe. Mostly i focus on Engraving, Dotwork and Ornamental style, but if you want something different (that does not look like it is from a horror movie haha), i am down to do it. Except for tattooing i also swim in fashion and clothing design – merging patterns, moods and motifs so they go well together like a cup of good cappuccino with lemongrass cake. I have a great attention to detail and crave thoughtful designs.
